There is no Raw Meat roller skating session on September 8. Instead, come to Kerrisdale Arena to watch the Faster Pussycats and the Bad Reputations battle it out for the Mercury Shield. Who will be triumphant? The kitties will be itching to get their claws into some teal, but the Bad Reps have a lightening bolt or two up their fishnets. Don’t forget, the Riot Girls and Public Frenemy will be warming up the crowd with an intense battle for 3rd.
WARNING: If you have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or a need to have perfectly manicured fingernails on Sept. 9, you should stay away. Both bouts at the semi-finals came down to the last jams. The finals will be even more intense. It’s going to be amazing!
Raw Meat Roller Skating Returns on September 15
Starting on September 15, Raw Meat Roller Skating will meet every Saturday from 5 to 7 PM all fall and winter. We meet at Thunderbird Community Centre, 2311 Cassiar St., near Rupert Skytrain Station. Sessions are $7, and are drop-in. Just bring your self, all your safety gear, and leave the ass-hat at home.
